The high content in easily assimilated proteins favors the growth of fish, while unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3, omega-6) contribute to the development of a hump on the head, a peculiar characteristic of the Flower Horn and of Other major cyclides of southern and central America.

Plant substances, including spirulina, constitute a source of natural carotenoids that intensify coloring. Low content in starches protects carnivorous fish from the fat degeneration of the internal organs. HTST (high temperature for short time) technology, used for the production of feed, guarantees high assimilation of nutrients and organic integrity of the product. Pellets do not disintegrate into water, therefore they do not pollute or issue precious nutrients. Despite its transparency, the material effectively protects the feed from the harmful activity of light and UV radiation.
