The pistia is an easy plant to breed and needs little light so it does not have many care needs, it grows well even without CO2 plant in the aquarium.

The width of the plant varies according to age and can reach even greater dimensions of 20 cm.

The Pistia anti-algae plant is highly recommended in ponds and sweet aquariums to adversely affect the growth of algae, for this reason it is considered an anti-algae plant.

The Pistia is commonly called also sea lettuce for its shape.
