Substrate
The Mayaca fluvatilis is a stem plant originating in South and Central America. The stem is extremely soft and flexible that, in addition to the very narrow leaves and a brilliant green, gives the plant a light and graceful expression. Branching willingly and the rapid growth makes regular pruning necessary.
This plant prefers sweet and slightly acid waters, but also grows well in medium hardness waters.
Mayaca fluvatilis is known to get very pale shoots if I lack iron.
As for stem plants, remove the leaves from the lower 5 cm. Remove damaged leaves. Plant the individual plants with a certain distance in the lower substrate. The roots will develop early and the plant will begin to grow.
