The Monnieri Credic Bacopa is a beautiful creeping plant of the Scrophulariacee family and is widespread in subtropical and tropical areas ranging from Africa to Oceania. It produces a weave of drumside and branched with succulent leaves, narrow and rounded on light green tips. The 4/5 petal flowers form a normally white bell and bloom in the hot months. Also known in the herbal sphere, it is used in Ayurvedic treatment and other diseases.
It was widely used in the aquariums of the 1960s / 1970s, today a little downgraded. It fits very well even in the pond but fears the ice for long periods. However it is possible to remedy this problem by cultivating it at a depth not less than 20 cm.
