Large mother plant, cultivated in a square vessel of 9 cm.
Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a decorative hybrid between Echinodorus Schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus 'Barthii'. 20-50 cm high and with a 20-40 cm wide rosette.
Of course, it is the black elliptical spots on the red-brown leaves to have given this plant the name of "ozelot". The stains are darker on the younger leaves and, unlike many other spotted echinodorus, 'ozelot' maintains spots even at low light intensity.
It is a little demanding plant and suitable for beginners.
