The bioflow system has been scientifically tested by independent institutions and has long been considered one of the main filtering systems in the world-wide aquarium sector. The bioflow filtering system stands out for its ability to filter particularly high volumes, operating excellent mechanical, chemical and biological filtering ensuring a long duration of the filter and long maintenance intervals. The filter construction also allows easy access to the pump and the heater and the use of special filtering baskets guarantees easy removal and cleaning of filtering material.
The exclusive double-flow principle of the filtering system Juwel Bioflow allows you to reach different filter flow speeds by thus providing exceptionally high performance of the filtering system. A relatively fast capacity at the top of the filter is particularly advantageous for mechanical and chemical filtration. A slower scope in the lower part of the filter, instead, favors an optimal development of anaerobic bacteria, of fundamental importance for biological filtering.
The filters Juwel Bioflow are equipped with a highly efficient and silent bedflow circulation pump, whose performance is scientifically adapted to the sizes of the filtering system. BioFlow filters are also designed to accommodate heaters Juwel, which are therefore integrated optimally in the water cycle and guarantee a uniform heat distribution in all areas of your aquarium. The bioflow filtering system does not require flexible fittings that often reduce performance, and can cause loss or impurity infiltration. The bioflow system is therefore the safest way to filter water into the aquarium.
Each bioflow system is equipped with five high quality filter vehicles:
1. The filter wadding absorbs the larger dirt particles in the water and therefore acts as a mechanical prefilter.
2. Active coal absorbs odorous substances, impurities as well as toxic compounds and guarantees crystal clear water. It therefore acts as a chemical filter.
3. Optional: Carbax. The excellent properties of Carbax quickly and prolonged any discolorations, odoring and toxic substances ensuring crystal clear water.
4. NITRAX is a special filtering medium and contains special microorganisms to reduce toxic metabolites (ammonium nitrite) in your aquarium. This reduces the risk of a marriage of fish. Furthermore, NITRAX reduces algae growth through the anaerobic decomposition of nitrates and thus promotes the vitality of your fish.
5. The sponge with wide pores is used for mechanical filtration and offers bacteria the opportunity to settle in the aerobic environment.
6. Optional: CIRAX / PHRAX / Amorax- Cirax is a biological filtering medium which, thanks to its highly porous surface, offers optimal colonization properties for useful bacteria.
The phax is a highly efficient filtering medium to reduce phosphates in your aquarium. This decomposition effectively reduces algae growth and can contribute to better plant growth.
Amorax is a highly efficient filtering medium based on natural zeolite. Leave ammonium quickly and effectively, preventing ammonia training and favoring the vitality of your fish.
