In new aquariums BLQ1 immediately creates an efficient biological filtration, reducing system maturation times.

In marine and barrier aquariums already started BLQ1 increases the population of beneficial microorganisms and accelerates nitrification and denitrification processes for a timely improvement of the environment: water returns crystalline and pollutants, in particular ammonium and nitrogen compounds, nitrites, nitrates and phosphates are reduced.

BLQ1 does not cause increased production of sulphite acid, as its bacteria do not use sulphur as a reducing agent.
