Trace Colors A -B - C - D Red Sea

Research Red Sea on the metabolic demand of SPS, LPS and soft corals have identified 31 secondary elements and traces that beside the basic elements are present in the skeleton and soft tissue of all corals. These elements are known as the main biocatalysts in thousands of metabolic processes in marine organisms and therefore must be readily available in all barrier aquariums. Many of them however become toxic in concentrations higher than the levels present in marine water in nature and therefore the correct dosage is crucial for a long-term success of any barrier aquarium.

Our research has identified 4 distinct groups of elements with similar biological functions as well as a direct connection to the specific pigments of corals that allows the division of 31 elements into 4 Coral Colors A, B, C & D supplements. The Coral Colors supplements have been formulated in such a way that the ratio of the elements in each supplement is identical to that found in the skeleton and soft coral tissue.

All Coral Colors should be regularly integrated into all LPS and SPS aquariums regardless of the specific coral colors or if the water parameters (basic elements and algae nutrients) have been set for better coloring or accelerated growth.
