Liquid iodine supplement 250ml

This supplement brings iodine to high bioavailability because it is stable in marine water, thus ensuring a proper growth of fish and invertebrates.

This iodine is in the form of iodine, which is the form of iodine most present in natural marine water: is the only assimilate by marine organisms.

This form of iodine is perfectly soluble and generates clear and transparent solutions. Other forms of iodine (e.g. red metallic iodine, used for disinfecting solutions) could be dangerous to marine organisms, because not completely bioavailable.

Maintaining an adequate concentration of Iodine leads to having corals with non-fine and stressed fabric, tridacne with well-open cloak and all other hermathic organisms in perfect health.

A concentration between 0.04 – 0.06 ppm is optimal.

In the aquarium, Iodine is removed from the skimmer and activated carbon so it is very important to replenish it regularly.
