Superactive peat granulate: it inhibits the growth of fungi, bacteria and algae and is particularly suitable for preparing for fish from very tender waters with a very low carbon hardness (KH).
Description
It maintains the pH slightly acidic and creates ideal conditions for all South American, Asian and West African ornamental fish (e.g. Discus, Calictidi, Loricaridi, Ciprinidi, Caracidi, Labirintidi).
Benefits
It gives water, in a controlled way, precious acids and trace elements. .
Final notes
Carbonate hardness must always be present in sufficient quantities; therefore we recommend to check it with a KH- test and, if necessary, raise it to 4-8 °dKH
Eheim recommend 1lt to treat 80/100 lt of water. The peat dilates in contact with the water for this must be wet before its use (but not rinsed). Replace every 3/6 weeks (after treatment does not use activated charcoal you would lose the benefit of treatment).
