Eheim AKTIV

AKTIV is washed with acid and activated for automatic water absorption (active surface 1200 m2/g). Therefore, this activated carbon very quickly binds chemical pollutants such as pesticides, drug residues and other chemicals. The use of the product is particularly indicated after the aquarium inhabitants were treated with drugs.

Features:

• Use only for a limited period of time (about 4 weeks).

AKTIV should only be used for a limited period of time (about 4 weeks) and should be removed or replaced. In the layered structure of the filter, AKTIV must be used directly after the mechanical filtering mass (e.g. MECH or MECHpro of EHEIM) and the biological one (e.g. SUBSTRATpro) in the supplied mesh bag.
