The plastic shell makes them safe and resistant. JOLLY can be placed under the substrate and is a great solution for turtles and marshes. The JOLLY heater is always working when it is submerged. It turns out only when it is disconnected. The built-in thermal resistance intervenes when the heater works out of the water, preventing overheating (the light is switched off only if JOLLY is not in operation). Performance depends on different conditions: - Quantity of water - Ambient temperature - Open or closed tank
