Purigen, specific resin for organic cleaning
Pigen is a very high quality synthetic adsorbent.
It is not a mixture of ion or adsorbent exchangers, but a unique macroporous synthetic polymer that eliminates soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a speed and an efficacy superior to any other product to the extent of more 500%.
Nitrogen organic waste release harmful compounds such as ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, which you can keep under control thanks to Pigen. The impact exercised by Pigen on trace elements is minimal. This product considerably increases the oxidoride, also cleans the water giving it a unmatched clearness. Pigen ™ gradually darkens with use indicating consumption. It is easily regenerable by treating it with bleach for domestic uses. Pigen ™ is indicated for both fresh water and sea water.
Pigen is the most effective synthetic adsorbent on the market, thanks to its spherical shape but at the same time reticulated macro. The similar products on the market are ion exchange resins, while Pigen is specifically designated to be an organic cleaning resin. When ion exchange resins are charged with metals and other contaminants, Pigen has just begun to reach its potential. In fact, generally this product ignores the elementary compounds having affinity with nitrogen organic elements. The primary source of nitrogen compounds in an aquarium are waste. Fish, corals and even plants produce nitrogen waste. Pigen removes waste more quickly and more complete than any other product on the market.
Instructions for Use
Rinse before use. Store the product in a bag for filtering materials. A liter of product treats up to 4,000 liters of water up to six months. It adapts to any type of filter. To maximize the yield to place where the water flow is greater. It takes a black-brunette color when it is exhausted.
Regeneration: Bathing for 24 hours, in a 50% bleach solution, pigen exhausted using a plastic container. With bleach use the due caution. Rinse well and then immerse for 8 hours in a solution consisting of a declorator. At the end rinse again carefully. With freshwater aquariums, keep in immersion for 4 hours in a solution consisting of a buffer product (it is not required for marine water). At this point the original color and reactivation should have been achieved and pigen should be ready for re-use.
