Zeolite, removing ammonia and heavy metals - Seachem

Directions for use: Rinse Zeolite ™ before use. Place it so that the flow of water through it is maximum. Use 250 ml (about 1 cup) of Zeolite ™ for 200 liters of water water. If you have a smaller aquarium, use 5 ml of Zeolite ™ in 4 liters of water water. The specified quantity can remove up to 0.5 mg / l of ammonia. After about 24-48 hours, ammonia levels should go down to zero. In this case, you can remove Zeolite ™ and replace it with activated carbon. To eliminate heavy metals, Zeolite ™ must remain in service and be replaced monthly.
