BIORING CANOLOCCHI AMTRA

Amtra Biorings Freshwater is an active matrix filter material consisting of a mix of selected ingredients and mixed with the utmost care (sintered glass and ceramic, soil, trace elements including iron, sodium and calcium).

A liter of product has a useful surface for the settlement of microorganisms of about 200sqm. The special formulation of Amtra Biorings Freshwater promotes the formation of electrostatic ties with the organic suspension component favoring the bacterial settlement.

The large surface and high porosity make it the ideal substrate to promote the decomposition processes of nitrated harmful compounds (ammonia and nitrites) by nitrifishing bacteria.
