EDEN FEX 60 external filter, up 60 liters (new Eden 501 model)

The filter 501 was born to meet the needs of the most demanding aquarists which, for reasons of space, must give up larger aquariums.
The performance of the pump, the compact structure and the abundant accessories, make it ideal for aquariums up to 60 liters.

Supplied complete with suction system, pipes and connection fittings and delivery system with spray bar for better surface exchange, or with deflector for water direction to taste, the 501 is a professional filter to all effects.
The two biological and mechanical filtering stages, of a carefully calculated size, offer great surface for excellent filtering action to the benefit of a better ecosystem; They are supplied complete with ceramic biological support and fine porosity sponge but can be used using favorite materials. The shape and dimensions of the filter facilitate installation on the side or behind the aquarium.
The pump, based on the known and tested type 106 engine of the Eden, guarantees maximum reliability, silence of operation and low consumption with ideal performance for the correct functioning of the filter and adapted to the volume of the aquarium.
The filter is easy to trigger; Simply open the upper cap, fill the water filter and connect the appliance to the network. A special internal circuit does knows that after a few moments, the air eventually present in the filtering masses or accumulated at the top of the filter, will be completely eliminated and the filter will start working perfectly in maximum silence. Safety buttons prevent unwanted or accidental openings of the fixing clips of the pump cover.
