The Echinodorus 'Bleherae' from South America is little demanding and beautiful, and becomes 20-50 cm tall.

A nutrient background promotes growth, but the plant must be pruned to prevent the plants under light. The Echinodorus bleherae also behaves well in unlighted aquariums, as it grows towards the light. It is a solitary plant resistant and easy to manage, both for beginners and for the most experienced with rather large aquariums. It was sold under the name ''Paniculatus'.
