Mexican Echinodorus relatively fast growing, suitable for large aquariums, with 20-50 cm long leaves and a 15-30 cm wide rosette. Easy and little demanding, it is an excellent plant for beginners.
Its wavy leaves of light green color are very decorative. Unlike other varieties with round leaves of the species, the Echinodorus cordifolius fluitans is less likely to grow above the surface of the water. If it grows enough, it forms large leaves just below the surface.
