The Limnophila hippuridoides is native to Asia and the stems grow up to 20-50 cm tall and 6-10 cm wide - often with beautiful tips of the sprouts twisted out. It is a simple plant, able to adapt to different conditions.
The leaves are green with the lower part red-violacea, and the whole leaf becomes red-violacea in ideal growth conditions. A vigorous growth plant that gladly creates new and solid buds from the base. It is recommended to thin the older and long sprouts to make room for these new sprouts. Remove cut buds, which will soon develop new roots.
If the stem or leaves are damaged, it emits a strong scent.
