Aponogeton crispus of Sri Lanka is perfect in any aquarium with its clear, wavy and transparent green leaves. Leaves of 25-50 cm and the plant grows up to 15-25 cm wide.
It requires few demands, although growth is always the best in fresh water, slightly acidic with a nutrient background. In such conditions the plant produces a mass of leaves and flowers very frequently in optimal conditions. Aponogeton crispus is generally found in ponds that are only filled with water during the rainy season, but does not need a dormant period in the aquarium.
