Autofood, automatic feeder - JBL

An automatic feeder for pond fish offers many advantages. During your holidays or weekend trips your koi and other fish in the pond will be provided with reliable feed. The water temperature sensor that you can position up to 3 m depth shows you the water temperature on the waterproof display. So you can always choose the type of food suitable for temperature in the pond. Attention in case of frost:

The automatic power supply contains lithium-ion accumulators. Lithium batteries must be charged from 0 °C and not at lower temperatures because otherwise the accumulator is damaged. On a sunny day the solar panel would charge the accumulator even under 0 °C, so the appliance should be disassembled in winter. In winter then the amount of feed would still be too high for the fish requirements.

With temperatures below 0 °C => store the appliance and cover the solar panel.

Or: cover the solar panel not to charge the battery and continue to use the appliance until -20 °C (load). Regularly check the battery status. The battery can be charged only with temperatures above 0 °C.
