The JUWEL feed machine can be used for all aquarium types. Usually it is necessary to cut only an opening in the aquarium cap, in which the support tank of the automatic feed distributor can be inserted.
The support tank is built to contain a small removable cover that closes the opening of the feed when the distributor is not used. In this way the light does not enter from the lid. In some JUWEL aquariums this opening is already pre-printed and closed with a lid.
1. First remove the cover that closes the opening (if present) for the JUWEL feed vending machine or open the cover.
2. Insert the supplied support tank into the opening.
3. Extract the opening cover plate and keep it safe.
4. Place the automatic feed dispenser in the tray through the opening.

If your JUWEL aquarium cover does not have an adequate support for the machine distributor, please contact your specialist dealer.
The appropriate set of caps for the automatic feed distributor is available as the original JUWEL spare.
Programming:
The JUWEL feed machine allows you to feed up to 2 times a day. Therefore the programming is configured so that the second power always takes place 6 hours after the first power supply.
This is to be considered when the distributor is set up to ensure that the food is not done during the night.
For commissioning you must first insert into the battery compartment And the AA type ministylus batteries supplied.
Press the "ON/OFF" button. The operation is indicated by the red flashing LED.
By switching on the vending machine the first program is also activated and at the same time the first feed distribution. This is indicated by the green LED which first flashes and a moment later remains on. From this moment on, the power to the set time will take place.
If you want to set a second power interval you must press the "SET" button.
The yellow LED flashes and then remains on. From this you can understand that the JUWEL feed vending machine has been set for two feeds. From this moment on, in the next few, the first feeding will take place at the set time, while the second will always happen after 6 hours have passed since the first feeding.
(Example: activation at 9:00, first feeding at 9:00 and second feeding at 15:00. )
If you want to return to the previous setting with only one power supply, press the "SET" button again or turn off and turn on the vending machine.
Control panel:
ON/OFF: ignition and shutdown of the vending machine
SET: selection of feeding time and start of the program
Green LED: 1 power supply within 24 hours; the power takes place at the set time after the first activation of the program, then it will happen at regular intervals every 24 hours, every day.
Yellow LED: 2 power supplies within 24 hours; the first power is at the same time as the program is activated, the second power will take place 6 hours later. This cycle is repeated every 24 hours.
Select the program so that the JUWEL vending machine distributes the feed while the lamps are lit.
M: manual feed of the feed; to make additional power or to control the operation press the "M" button.
Batteries: If the batteries are replaced or removed, the JUWEL automatic distributor must be rescheduled.
If you do not turn on any LED you should check if the batteries are placed correctly, otherwise you should replace them.
Working:
Pull the container C towards the'esterno.angime. To ensure uniform distribution of the feed should not be pressed.
Close the container with lid A and reapply it so you can feel the snap.
As described in "Mounting", apply the automatic feed distributor in the tray through the opening. To avoid condensing water formation you can connect the JUWEL automatic distributor to a fan.
How to adjust the amount of feed: by the regulator B you adjust the amount of feed you want to distribute.
The JUWEL feed vending machine requires little maintenance and attention. You should regularly clean the C feed container and the surrounding environment to avoid the formation of aspergilli.
When you replace the batteries, you need to check and possibly clean the contacts from the eventual acid out of the batteries.
