Use in aquarium
Iglù are perfect for most of the fish species. Our ceramic decorations are a good option to reduce aggressiveness in fish and reptiles. Thanks to their realistic appearance, they can be easily combined with real wood and our ceramicnature backgrounds. In addition to having good looks, iglù can be used as hiding places for cobites, catfish, shrimp, cichlids and other species of fish.
Also, you can also cover them with various types of plants and mosses like Java moss or Anubias. Use glue for aquariums or fishing wire to fix the ceramic plant for the first weeks. After this period, the plant will growing firmly over the iglù. The ceramic decorations will also serve as a biological filter in the aquarium since the ceramic structure is porous. Micro-cavities host numerous bacteria which, through biological decomposition, remove harmful substances from the water of the aquarium. All in all, a fantastic product!
Terrarium use
Iglù are widely used as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians like frogs, geckos and other species. Because they are made of ceramics, they can also be used as wet or hot caves. Ceramics is porous and holds heat or moisture well.
