The stone caves are handmade in our laboratory in the Netherlands. All cavity stones Ceramic Nature They are made of white ceramic, safe for man, animals and the environment.
They are available in 3 different sizes and have a white-gray color. They have various deformations and a rocky structure, with the inside of the smooth consistency but with pretuberances incorporated for a natural effect outside.
Because we carry out everything by hand, every stone colored cave is unique.

Use in aquarium

The stone-colored caves are the ideal decoration for aquariums with gray, white and basalt stones. Their realistic stone appearance makes them melt beautifully among the real stones. In addition to their aesthetic charm, cavity stones can also be used for loricaride breeding, smaller cat fish and prawns.
For Loricaridi breeding, we recommend using more shapes and sizes so that fish can choose the one they prefer. In addition to the caves, rectangular caves can also be found, D-shaped caves, triangular caves, XXL caves and catfish caves.
The Loricarids will choose a cave that is not much bigger than them, so keep it in mind when you buy.
Try placing the caves in different flow directions, which the fish will appreciate.
The XS caves are suitable for small loricarides up to 13 cm.
The c grotes are suitable for small loricarides up to 16 cm.
The c caves are suitable for loricarid breeding up to 21 cm.
If you do not alleviate fish, the caves are also excellent hiding places for, among others, loaches, large shrimp, big prawns, cat fish, etc.

Terrarium use

Stone-colored caves can also be used as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians like frogs and geckos. Because they are made of ceramic, they can also be used perfectly as wet caves.
