Marsilea hirsuta is an Australian carpet plant. A fascinating plant, usually delivered with leaves as a quadrifoglio. After a transitional period it develops different types of leaves, possibly a low shape with single leaves such as a large Glossostigma, or alternatively it develops two, three or four lobed leaves of variable height (from 2-10 cm), depending on the growth conditions.
