Limnopilos naiyanetri are crabs that live an exclusively aquatic life, found in the freshwater rivers of Thailand, where they live among aquatic plants and aquatic roots.

When fully developed the carapace is only 1 cm long, they have a light grey base color with drawings along the carapace; chews and legs vary from light gray to brown. The legs are unusually long, but they usually stop holding them bent.
