Vesicular Mountaini Christmas on Wood - Tropica

A special moss of Brazil, 1-3 cm high, called "Christmas tree moss", for its side-branch structure that distinguishes it from the common Vesicular Dubyana and that resembles the branches of a fir.

It is more demanding than normal Java moss and grows more slowly. It is easily attached to roots and stones and, since it spreads in the water, it needs pruning to maintain an attractive shape. See also TaxiPhyllum Barbieri.
