The Bolbitis, a native of West Africa, is a fern with beautiful transparent green leaves, high and wide 15-40 cm. When it plants do not cover the rhizome because it is rotted, and it is better to plant Bolbitis Heudelotii on a root or a stone.
It is easy to propagate dividing the horizontal rhizome. Growth can be considerably increased with CO2 intake and is optimal only in tender and slightly acid water.
