Food for aquatic plants
Plants provide the aquarium with oxygen that is vital to its inhabitants, prevent the growth of algae, eliminate harmful substances, offer hiding places and reduce pathogenic germs. The fertilization plant JBL supplies plants through water with CO2, the primary nutrient. The plants absorb it and transform it by means of photosynthesis and with light help in sugar and oxygen.
Easy installation
The system is fully ready to connect. Screw the pressure reducer on the reserve CO2 cylinder and connect it by means of the hose with the counter (incl. non-return valve) and then with the reactor in the aquarium. Thus CO2 enters the aquarium and is dissolved with the help of the reactor. The CO2 input can be interrupted at night by the interconnected magnetic valve (nightly shutdown). The amount of dissolved CO2 in the water is constantly shown by the CO2/pH Permanent Test and can be adjusted later.
Security
The reserve tank is approved TÜV. Thanks to the non-return valve, water can not enter the tank. The duration of a CO2 plant depends on various factors. The carbonate hardness, the quantity and type of plants and the intensity of the water movement on the surface are decisive. A 500 g cylinder that is not turned off at night by a magnetic valve, lasts with the factory setting about 4 months. The recyclable CO2 cylinders are on sale individually or in more affordable 3 pieces.
Conversion from disposable cylinders to rechargeable cylinders and vice versa
All systems JBL cO2 cylinders are compatible with each other. In the multi-use system (M system) you can simply unscrew the pressure reducer fitting nut with a tile key. Thus the pressure reducer is suitable for the U system (disposable bottles). Invert the method in case of disposable system.
