Small, but refined and very effective vacuum cleaner for suction of waste in small aquariums
Usage: Keep the aspiration in the water, suck briefly with the mouth and water flows into the bucket.
Dip the aspirant into the substrate and thanks to the risucchio is aspired the melma from the bottom
The angle section allows the aspiration of dirt in the corners of the aquarium
Animal safety: removable protection grid against accidental resurface of plants, shrimps and fish
Regular water change
The remains of food and plants and metabolic waste pollute aquarium water. As aquarium filters fail to completely remove such substances from the water, and a large part of the waste is deposited in the substrate, a partial water change should be performed regularly (about every 2 weeks 1/3 of the water content). This should always be associated with an aspiration of waste from the substrate. After partial water change, you should definitely use a good water conditioner, such as JBL Biotopol, to make the new tap water suitable for fish.
Easy use
Hang the aspiring bell in the aquarium, aspire from the end of the tube and hold it in a bucket, so that the water flows into the bucket. Clean the bottom with the aspiring bell. To finish simply remove the bell aspired by water.
Tip: If you don't want to suck water with your mouth, keep the whole hose in the water until it's full of water, keep an end closed and reopen it in the bucket. Thus the water will flow independently.
So the aquarium bottom is properly cleaned
Push the aspiring bell with rotating movements in the aquarium substrate. Risucchio aspires substrate and waste upwards. Due to its weight, the substrate falls down again and only the waste is aspired by the aquarium. In case of fine sand you can adjust the resurface by lifting the aspiring bell, so that even light sand can fall on the bottom.
If under the covering layer of gravel there is a long lasting fertilizer (e.g. JBL PROFLORA AQUA BASIS), you should avoid pushing the aspiring bell into the substrate until you touch the aquarium bottom, and leave it only to a depth equivalent to the thickness of the layer covering the substrate itself.
