Prodibio STOP AMMO neutralizes the Fresh-Sea Water ammonia 6 vials.
STOP AMMO is a natural product composed of extracts of plants growing in deserts.
These plants have developed a molecular system - glyco-composts - whose main property is to bind the extremely volatile and toxic ammonium nitrogen, to stock it in a non-volatile or toxic form and to synthesize it later in the form of nutrition : protein and amino.
To adapt it to the culture of water, the saponins were removed, toxic for the gills of the fish.

The property of STOP AMMO is therefore to combine ammonia mainly in aquarium, breeding and/or transport waters, to reduce or avoid damage caused by unionized ammonia NH3 and to limit nitrite production.

It is used in the waters of the transport, During the acclimatization of seawater fish after a few hours in the package. At the beginning of the aquariums and to reduce nitrite increases.

In the transport water:

STOP AMMO combines and neutralizes mainly ammonia and scatoli - composed of odors of fecal matter, derived from protein rot - and, accessoryly, from harmful gases such as Hydrogen Sulfureo SH2 and sulphate mercaptans.

The dose to be used is that of 1 vial for 10 liters of water

During acclimation:

This is especially important in sea water due to the pH change.
In fact during the trip fish breathe and reject CO₂₂ makes the water sour and drops the pH (after 24 hours, pH from 6.8 to 7.2). At these values, when the pH is low, ammonia compounds are found mainly in the form of low toxic NH4.
During acclimatization with the drop-off counter, the pH rises to bring it progressively to 8 - 8,2, (values in well balanced aquariums).
At that time part of NH₄ turns into NH₃ extremely toxic. This fact is the main cause of mortality during acclimatization. You must therefore use 1 vial for a seaboard to be added in the tank that welcomes the water of the packages, the fishes and the drop-off counter and in which the acclimatization will begin.
