It decreases the pH of the pond. Rain water, water movement (fall, water games...), some aquatic plants, the fall of leaves, some rocks and substrates (...) can affect the pH value. An optimal pH value in a pond is between 7 and 8.3. Too high, it can make it impossible to adjust the hardness of water (no dissolution or precipitation). A pH- treatment can be a necessary and extremely effective complementary tool to rebalance the mineral balance of water. To be used before introducing GH/KH/Optiminera if the pH is higher than 8.2. A meter for m3 lowers the pH from 1 to 2 units in 24-48 hours. To stabilize the pH, it is recommended to ensure that the KH is at least more than 6. Check the pH and KH regularly, especially during periods of heavy rain and drought. Suitable for swimming pools and ponds.
