Optinit, start of biological filtration
Optinit contains all bacterial strains and minerals necessary to start or restart biological filtration and is suitable for both pools, and
for ponds.
The use of Optinit is strongly recommended in the most sensitive moments for a filter such as: the beginning of filtration (spring, new
pond ...), after maintenance, the change of biological supports (sponges, bioball, etc.), chemical treatment or change
water. As soon as the water temperature exceeds 10 oC, it is sufficient to distribute Optinit directly into the filter and surface
of the pond at points where the circulation of water is better, taking care to turn off the UV for three days. To maximize the result,
it is recommended to pay attention to the proper oxygenation of water and to use Bactogen for the maintenance of filtration.
