Deep 50 cm and 66 cm high the RIO 450 LED aquarium is the strong piece of the RIO series.

RIO 450 LED is able to accommodate both large fish and particularly demanding marine creatures. The lower frame acts as a safety frame ensures absolute stability and allows safe and seamless positioning of the aquarium, without the help of special supports.

Manufactured in Germany with meticulous care and the use of fine materials and techniques in perfect harmony with each other, the RIO 450 LED aquarium is characterized by quality and safety at the highest levels, guaranteeing a long life.

The aquarium is available in black, dark brown, light brown and white.

MultiLux LED / Lighting

Bright lighting and excellent growth of plants: this is guaranteed by the modern JUWEL MultiLux LED technology. The 1200 mm DAY and NATURE LED lamps create an optimal light spectrum while saving up to 50% energy at the same time as T5.

The MultiLux LED lighting system for the RIO 450 LED facilitates work on the aquarium, even when lighting is on.

The ultrasonic welded light source is 100% waterproof and meets the strict European safety standards.

Bioflow XL / Filtering system

To ensure optimum water filtration, the RIO 450 LED aquarium is equipped with the highly efficient Bioflow XL system. This system with internal filter elements, which combines efficiency and safety, represents the true heart of JUWEL aquariums. Based on the principle that "water remains in the aquarium!", it represents the safest way to filter it. The Bioflow XL system is equipped with five very efficient filter elements and a Quiflow 1000 recirculation pump, silent and powerful.

AquaHeat 300 W / Heater

The right temperature inside the RIO 450 LED aquarium is ensured by the 300 Watt JUWEL heater, perfectly integrated into the water cycle of the Bioflow XL filter system.
