Amguard, eliminate ammonia - Seachem

Amguard ™ reacts to contact with free ammonia within a few minutes and does not alter the pH. There are two types of ammonia: the free and ionized one. Only free ammonia is toxic. The traditional test kits used for ammonia detection convert all ammonia in free ammonia raising the pH to a value between 12 E14; Amguard ™ does not work in the presence of such a pH level and therefore would get a false-positive result. Use Ammonia Alert ™ : Free & Total Ammonia for direct monitoring of free ammonia levels. Amguard ™ also eliminates chlorine and chloramines. Suitable for freshwater and sea water

Amguard is the most effective product for the elimination of liquid product present on the market. It works in a few minutes and acts for about 48 hours, about twice as much as compared to competing products.

Instructions for Use

Beginners: use a cap (5 ml) every 200 l of water daily or based on the quantity of ammonia to be reduced (the cap of the 2L and 4 L formats equals 10ml of product).

Aquariums: if you use the test Ammonia Alert, based on its result you will have to use the following doses:

Alert: 1 cap (5ml) every 400 l of water daily

Alarm: 1 cap (5ml) every 200 l of water daily

Toxic: 1 cap (5 ml) every 80 l of water daily
