Note: the reactive strip should be used for only one measurement. The repeated scanning of the strip would lead to different values, as the strip continues to react.

How accurate is this measurement method?
Because smartphones have an automatic balance of color, reading colors is more accurate than what we would do to the naked eye. If the test is done correctly, the result is absolutely reliable. As for nitrite results, the experience teaches that it is useful to make further measurement with a drops test (JBL PROAQUATEST NO2 nitrite) if the result of JBL ProScan is NOT 0, since this value must be 100% reliable ( nitrite from 0.4 mg/l is fatally toxic to fish).
Possible errors during use:
When you remove the strips from the water, do not shake vertically, otherwise wet colors would flow into other color fields. The strip should be drained into the ORIZZONTALE and carefully. If they do not discover, the drops reflect too much light on the color fields and lead to unexpected results. It would be ideal to photograph the stripes on the color table with daylight. But it is even more important that the incidence of light is uniform and that there are no parts in shadows and illuminated parts. If so, the colors would be illuminated unevenly on the color table.
