Healthy aquariums in conditions as in nature
The correct parameters in the aquarium depend on the water available, the fish that breed and the plants present. Even if the water appears clear, it can be contaminated. With negative parameters can arise diseases and form algae. To have a healthy aquarium in conditions as in nature, regular control and monitoring of water parameters is important. The reactive strips JBL in this case they serve as guidance.
The following parameters are found with quick tests:
Disinfectants in current water: chlorine test
Water acidity: 6.4 - 9.0 pH test
Water stability: kH test from 0 to 20 °dKH
Total water hardness: GH test from <1 to >21 °dKH
Toxic nitrogen compounds: NO2 from 0 to 10 mg/l
Cause of algae: NO3 from 0 to 250 mg/l
Easy to use
Dip the reactive strip into the aquarium and move it for 2-3 seconds. Remove the strip from the aquarium and keep it horizontally to make it drip. After 60 seconds compare the values indicated on the reactive strip with the colorimetric scale on the package.
Store reactive strips in a cool and dry place. Remove only the amount of strips needed at the moment.
Reactive strips for 7 important water values in 1 minute: quick orientation test for aquarium water, ponds, tap and spring
Easy to use: move the reactive strip into the water for 2, 3 seconds. Extract the strip, keep it horizontally and let the water drain. Compare after 1 minute with the colour scale on the packaging. Read the CO2 value in the table
Determination of the following water values: chlorine, acidity (pH), total hardness (GH), poisonous nitrogen compounds (NO2), cause of algae (NO3), pH stability (KH) and main nutrient of plants (CO2 content from the table)
Additional tests such as phosphate or ammonium/ammonia are available as individual tests in the program JBL
Content: EasyTest 7 in 1 reactive strips with colour chart and CO2 table. Contains 50 reactive strips
