Fields of use:
Drug against fungi infections (saprolegnia, achlya) of ornamental fish and concomitant bacterial infections.
Visible symptoms of fungi infections are the formation of a layer similar to octopus.
Interactions with other substances:
The contemporary use of products to prepare water can make dessamor action ineffective.
Do not administer dessamor along with other substances.
Dosing instructions, type and duration of use:
Unless otherwise prescribed:
1st day: Pour 60 drops (3 ml) of dessamor for 100 I of aquarium water. Don't feed. Separate the aquarium filter and allow the closed cycle pump to keep the microorganisms present in the filter alive. Air the aquarium water.
If it is not possible to aerate without using the filter, we recommend to leave the filter in place without the filter material to ensure that water is sufficiently moved.
In this case, store the filter material in a container with a water quantity of 20 times higher than the volume of the filter material.
2nd day: 30 drops (1.5 ml) of dessamor for 100 I of aquarium water. Don't feed.
3rd day: No drug administration. Give the feed normally. If the filter material has been stored separately, do not insert it immediately into the aquarium.
The filtering material in this case should be thoroughly washed with water at medium temperature (not carefully to store a part of the microorganisms).
day 4-6: Do not administer the product. Give fish food normally.
7th day: Pour 60 drops (3 ml) of dessamor for 100 I of aquarium water. Don't feed. Separate the aquarium filter and allow the closed cycle pump to keep the microorganisms present in the filter alive. Air the aquarium water.

8th day: Don't administer drugs. Give the feed normally. Change about 30 % of aquarium water. Reset the filter. If the filter material has been stored separately, do not insert it immediately into the aquarium.
The filtering material in this case should be thoroughly washed with water at medium temperature (not carefully to store a part of the microorganisms). The use of aquavital conditioner and aquavital Stress-protect is highly recommended.
Information in case of overdose, suspension or termination of treatment:
If an overdose is determined, replace half of the aquarium water with treated marine water and provide filtering with activated carbon. The contemporary administration of aquavital conditioner helps to bind a part of the active ingredients in overdosage.
If an administration has been forgotten, it is necessary to recover it as soon as possible and then continue with the prescribed dosage.
Special warnings:
- Lower animals, such as anemones, lumachines, shells do not tolerate treatment with dessamor and must therefore be excluded from the same.
- Aquatic plants with very fine leaves, such as the Aquatic Cabomba, can be damaged by the use of drugs.
- The intense coloring of water is induced by active agents and disappears after a few days.
- After the expiry date do not use the product anymore.
- Keep drugs in places inaccessible to children.
- Keep dessamor away from light and heat. Store in the original packaging.
- Veterinary product.
- Do not use for animals intended for human nutrition.
