We tried for you this fantastic product by Seachem, is present in small granules of a ferric oxide (GFO) with the highest porosity of the industry. It more quickly removes phosphates and silicates of any other product on the market, both in fresh water and in marine water preventing its release over time. This product has very little pulviscle unlike other ferrous resins on the market that lose dust for a long time. PhosNet is not a resin exchanger and does not release any substance in the water. It does not release the phosphates or silicates that it absorbed into the tank and can also be removed, dried and used until exhaustion.
The doses to be used are really very low, just think that 50 g of PhosNet are able to treat 200 liters of marine water with PO4 1 mg/L and 400 Lt of fresh water. The product can be used both in a normal fit within your filter or as in a great NewOceans fluid bed filter.
