To set the water level you want to maintain it is necessary, then, to cut the tube supplied to the suitable height to maintain the above level (as from attached photo).

It is recommended to cut the tube with a inclination of 45° instead of transversal in order to minimize the noise of the bubbles during the scraping phase.

The 2 pieces of tube so obtained should be mounted on the adapter; the shortest piece will be the one from which, once the water level drops, it will air into the bottle by dropping the water into the aquarium through the other piece of pipe (longer) thus keeping the water at the desired level.

NB: avoid cutting the tube into 2 equal parts otherwise the operation of the product would be less based on the principle of communicating vessels; one of the two tubes must be longer to be able to stay below the water level while the other tube passes air
