Microsorum pteropus cultivated on mangrove wood (cut XL).
The Microsorum pteropus is a water fern native to Asia, 15-30 cm tall. It should be cultivated on a root or on a stone, fixed with a fishing wire until it has taken. If planted in the bottom, do not cover the rhizome because it rots. Easy to propagate by dividing the horizontal rhizome.
It is a resistant plant that grows in all conditions. Black spots under the leaves are sporangi (reproductive organs) and not signs of disease, as many believe.
