5 filtering levels for a perfect water

1/2 - Filter sponges: 2 layers of sponges retain all dirt residues escaped to other filter materials. The high surface of the sponges allows nitrifying bacteria to develop and make further biological filtering. Thanks to the hermetic closure (the filter works under pressure), the bacterial colonies develop more quickly and more effective than normal open filters.

3 - Newa Aqua Bioglobe: they are equipped with a structure designed to get the maximum ratio between the available surface and their size. Thanks to their unique conformation, they are able to reduce their diameter without hindering the water flow. This allows you to accommodate double the bacterial flora normally contained in the standard bioballs, optimizing the biological filtering.

4 - Newa Aqua Kinshy Sponge: It is a special material designed for filtering of large ponds, such as Koi carps. Constituted by an innovative electrowelded fiber in PVC, it has an anti-clogging mechanical action that allows it to fully satisfy both mechanical and biological functions. The extreme resistance to wear of the fibers allows to withstand loads of clearly higher pollutants than normal sponges.

5 - Room for the collection of dirt: thanks to the filter design, most coarse sediments deposits progressively into a specific area on the bottom of the container. By pressing the "backwash", the accumulated dirt is deleted from the water flow, reducing maintenance frequency.

The BackWash system is activated by turning the handle positioned on the filter cover. The system reverses the water flow allowing a rapid cleaning of the filter without the need to open or disassemble the filter.
