Cryptocoryne parva fromac Sri Lanka is the smallest of all Cryptocorynes (only 3-6 cm tall and a rosette less than 5-8 cm wide). It is one of the few species that does not significantly change the shape and color of the leaves according to the cultivation conditions. It needs more light than most other cryptocoryne because it almost completely loses the foliar dish under the water. So, it must never be shadowed by other plants.
Known for its slow growth, but the nutritional capsules in the lower layer will improve development. The individual plants should be planted a few centimeters away and after about six months they will form a low cohesive group of plants.
Plant in the foreground very recommendable.
