This stem plant with bamboo appearance, comes from'Asia, which often grows in rice fields.
Growth is straight, but the plant voluntarily branches when cut.
The leaf is light green, about 1 cm wide and 3-5 cm long. The apex of the stem becomes reddish if exposed to CO2 and intense light.
Because of rapid growth, longer sprouts require continuous cutting and some of the buds can be replanted in order to maintain a beautiful and varied group of plants.
