The Gratiola viscidula it comes from North America and is relatively new for water hobby. The somewhat "spinky" aspect of the submerged module makes it very distinct and easily recognizable.
It's enough easy to grow and prefers a good light. Using a regular trim can be kept very low, almost carpeted.
Each stem is about 1-2 cm wide and can become 10+ cm tall. The stem is ramified and spreads willingly giving a very dense appearance to the plant.
