Natural Habitat: Endemic to the Llano del Conejo, Mexico.
Type: Perennial carnivorous plant
Appearance: Forms a rosette of flat, fleshy leaves.
Size: Medium-sized.
Cultivation Conditions:
Light: Bright indirect light, with some tolerance to direct sunlight.
Temperature: Prefers moderate temperatures, between 15°C and 25°C, but can tolerate variations.
Humidity: Requires moderate to high ambient humidity, ideally between 50% and 70%.
Substrate: A well-draining mixture, often composed of peat, perlite, and sand.
Watering: Capillary watering recommended, maintaining the substrate moist but not waterlogged.
Overwintering: Reduces activity during the cold season, requiring less water and light.
Special Notes: Sensitive to excess minerals in water, preferably use rainwater, distilled water, or osmosis water.
- Watering: loves limestone water, so tap water is fine. In summer it is enough a cm of water in the underwater while in winter it is reduced to make it return in the compact winter rosette. You return to water in April with the arrival of spring.
- Relative humidity: it is recommended to maintain moisture between 50% and 70%.
- Temperature: avoid exposure to temperatures below 5 degrees; prefers moderate temperatures, between 15°C and 25°C.
