Appearance: Perennial plant forming a rosette of leaves.
Size: Medium, typically between 8 and 12 cm in diameter.
Cultivation Conditions:
Light: Bright indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sunlight but not prolonged exposure.
Temperature: Ideally between 15°C and 25°C.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity, between 50% and 70%.
Substrate: A well-draining mix, often consisting of peat, perlite, and sand.
Watering: Prefers bottom watering (capillary) to keep the substrate moist but not waterlogged.
Overwintering: May enter partial dormancy in winter with reduced watering.
Special Features: Sensitive to mineral excesses, recommended to use rainwater, distilled water, or osmosis water.
- Watering: loves limestone water, so tap water is fine. In summer it is enough a cm of water in the underwater while in winter it is reduced to make it return in the compact winter rosette. You return to water in April with the arrival of spring.
- Relative humidity: it is recommended to maintain moisture between 50% and 70%.
- Temperature: avoid exposure to temperatures below 5 degrees; prefers moderate temperatures, between 15°C and 25°C.
