Live bacteria cultures in products such as JBL ProClean Bac, JBL Denitrol, JBL FilterStart and JBL FilterBoost cannot be overdosed! It can happen to administer live bacteria in an excessive concentration but their survival is linked to the amount of nutrients present. For example: if there is much ammonium, many bacteria can live and proliferate. With a low amount of ammonium only a part of the bacteria will survive.
