Flourite® Dark is a porous gravel in stable porous clay specially fractionated for aquarium with natural plants. Its appearance is more suitable for planted aquariums, but can be used in any fresh water environment. Flourite® Dark is more effective if used alone as an integral substrate bed, but can be mixed with other guineas. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary. Flourite® Dark is not chemically coated or treated and does not alter the pH of water. Flourite® Dark is good for the aquarium life and must not be replaced.

To determine the number of bags required for your aquarium, please note that each envelope (7 kg, 15.4 pounds) occupies a volume of about 5,500 cm 3 (325 cu. In.). To determine the desired volume, multiply the tank width by the length of the desired depth.

Indications

Although it is pre-washed, because Flourite® Dark is a natural product, it can become dusty during transport and require rinsing before use to remove residual dust.

NOTE: the mesh bottom of the size of 3.5 kg allows rinsing in the bag.

TIP: When adding water to the aquarium, fill slowly to avoid disturbing the bed of dark substrate Flourite®. Put a bowl in the aquarium and add water directly to the bowl, so that the water can gently overflow into the gravel bed. The initial cloud is normal. To remove nebulity, use Clarity TM clearing.
