Seachem’s SaltTM is a mixture of chemically healthy salts designed to replicate the native environment of live carriers and other salt estuary fish without adversely impacting aquatic plants if used to specific dosages by region. The salt is also suitable for the usual use in fresh water in aquariums. It does not affect the pH and does not provide buffering.

Brackish SaltTM is much more than just a product based on sodium chloride. Other salts can burn leaves and roots in a planted aquarium. However, SaltTM does not cause this kind of damage and provides many essential nutrients for healthy plant growth.

The SaltTM dosing allows the specific duplication of different salmastri water environments worldwide (such as Sumatra water or Borneo water). SaltTM can also be dosed for common saltwater aquariums and common freshwater aquariums.

Indications

- Use to set up an aquarium and make water changes.

- To add salt to an established tank, gradually do it.

- It is better to dissolve salt in fresh water before use.

- Avoid the use of salt when simply replacing evaporated water.

For the general use of salt in the aquarium (both for the replacement of minerals and for the control of diseases), use 20 g (~1 tablespoon) for every 40 L (10 US gallons).
